TERONG TRADITIONAL MARKET

Hello guyss.. welcome back to my traditional market's journey.. By the way, it's been 6 months since the first time we visit the local market, and maybe this is the last time I visited traditional market for this semester.

We did really enjoy to visited the local market. Maybe the first time for me it was really bothering and kind a burden us. But after many weeks, I really enjoy it because it just like opened my third eyes.. hahaha.. but yeah it is true because before that, I never mentioned the traditional market in Makassar. I just know maybe 3 traditional market in Makassar. But thanks to this task, makes knowledge me more about traditional market, not just the location of traditional market, but also how to asked people with polite, know more about the price, rushing in the traditional market, and many others. Maybe I will never forget this moments, especially for my friends who really patient accompany me for this semester.

And the last market that we visited was TERONG TRADITIONAL MARKET. This local market is located Jalan Mentimun No.7, Wajo Baru, Bontoala, Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan 90151. It is open from 05.00-17.00. This market established since 1960, woah, I was shocked to hear this fact. This local market was older than my father. hahaha. I really like this local market because it is very large, very organized, and you could find anything in here. Started from vegetables, meat, poultry, fish and shellfish, eggs, fruit, even cloths, you can find all of them in Terong Local Market.

Personally I don't really like to take a picture of my self while working, even if I visited the local market. Sometimes when all of my friends took a picture in the traditional market's tag, I didn't want to take a picture of myself at all. I think it's kind a weird about myself. Maybe I don't confidence for myself. So if you mentioned it before, or you ever asked why I rarely post my pictures, this is the answer. I don't confidence with myself.

Puff Pastry

Puff Pastry is one of the most popular product in the bakeshop. Even though puff pastry includes no added leavening agent, it can rise to 8 times its original thickness when baked. Puff Pastry is a rolled-in dough or laminated dough just like Croissant and Danish dough. Unlike Danish dough however heated, is responsible for the spectacular rising power of puff pastry. Puff Pastry or Puff dough is one of the most difficult of all bakery products to prepare. Because it have to be consisted of over 1000 layers, many more than Danish dough, the process requires a great deal of time and care. JAJANGMYEON (자장면)

Jajangmyeon (자장면) (Black Bean Sauce Noodles) is a Chinese cuisine adapted to the Korean style served in most of the Chinese restaurants in South Korea and has now become a favourite food among the Koreans. You can often see people eating jajangmyeon in Korean TV dramas and variety shows. It is said that every day over 7 million bowls of jajangmyeon are sold in South Korea. This is also one of the foods I often ate when I studied Korean in Seoul. Let’s talk about jajangmyeon in this blog post. What is Jajangmyeon? Jajangmyeon is a non-spicy dish of thick noodles (made from white wheat flour) served with a thick dark brown sweet sauce which is made from a salty black bean soybean paste called chunjang (춘장) stir-fried with diced onions, minced pork/beef and sometimes other vegetables.
